Where to Buy Hollywood Squares - Nintendo Wii

Description

The Hollywood Squares game features all the favorite elements of the TV show as 2 contestants play head-to-head in a bid to win money and prizes. Nine cubes make up the tic-tac-toe style “board”, occupied by Center Square celebrities Martin Mull, Kathy Griffin, Jeffrey Tambor or Brad Garett. Celebrities are asked questions and reply via hilarious video footage from the TV show. Players judge whether answers are true or false, all the while incorporating outrageous “zingers” to fuel fun. A correct answer earns the player a square on the board- the first player to mark 3 squares in a row wins!

2 out of 5 stars Not good, sorry.

The questions on this game were WAY too easy. If you play against a real person, you don't get to play the bonus round! What's up with that???? While the graphics are decent, I'm very disappointed with this one. Wish I could get my money back.

This was a horrible game, nothing too it.It was like you played the game then started over. I too had wished I could get my money back! Dont waste your money....

1 out of 5 stars ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!!

So glad I rented, not bought. The questions were just plain ridiculous- not the least bit challenging. The single player mode is stupid- you don't even get to hear the computer's question, and the computer almost always misses the question. In the 2 player mode, X always starts the round, regardless of who won the previous round, thus making it virtually impossible for O to win because the questions are so easy that player 1 would have to be a child or really dumb in order to get them wrong, therefore guaranteeing that they will get 5 squares before player 2. There is also no bonus round in 2 player mode. VERY boring, VERY dumb. Don't buy this- donate your money to a worthy cause instead- at least then it's going to something worthwhile! I wish I could give this 0 stars, because I would.

3 out of 5 stars Reminds me of the new Hollywood Squares

I used to love to watch this show with my grandma and even though it is such a simple game, I enjoyed it. You play the game against an opponent (Computer-generated or friend) and you pick squares to answer a question. The middle square is one of the for celebrities - Kathy Griffin, Brad Garrett, Jeffrey Tambor, and Marin Mull - and the host is the actual show host, Tom Bergeron. When you click on the middle square you are taken to an actual clip of the Hollywood Squares show where the celebrity has answered the question - it is pretty neat how good of quality this is! You then agree or disagree which earns you the spot or gets awarded to your opponent. Each time you win a round, a new wardrobe item opens up to dress your character. The game goes really quick and while some of the questions are a little tough, I would say most are really easy! For example, one question asked about the lead actor in "Twilight" and the character said it was Robert Deniro, obviously I disagreed. Other questions ask where the United Nations headquarters are and the character said something crazy like Delaware! It is a very simple game and for fans of the show it is fun and something to take your mind off things! I do though wish the questions were a little tougher and there was more to what you win - dressing my avatar in the game isn't something I really care to win. Overall, though the celebrity mini-clips are funny and it reminds me exactly of the tv show.

I liked hollywood squares - the questions on the game show were fairly easy just as the wii game isnot all questions are easy but its a fun game nothing special- loads a bit slow but not bad for a game show gameno game show games for the wii Ive played have been fantastic, but I would say its a fun easy to play group game where at least the questions are not that difficult.

3 out of 5 stars Not worth the money
Janice

Thought it would be fun but it is kinda boring and the questions are super easy. The two player mode is not very fun. It is ok if you get it for under $10 but not worth the 19 I paid for it.

1 out of 5 stars Waste of time
Rich

Okay, the questions are ridiculously easy.Player 1 always starts, so when playing head to head since everyone gets all the easy questions right player 1 gets 5 squares first and wins every round.Waste of money
