At first getting used to it you may notice some soreness. Its just your hand adjusting to the height of the stick. If you play FPS shooters (COD, BF4, Titanfall etc.) these are a game changer. Before I go any further I only use ONE of these on my right stick. That stick is primarily used for aiming. On my left stick I use a smaller KontrolFreek called CQC, linked at the bottom of my post. The left stick is primarily used for movement. Prior to using this stick my K/D ratio was always 0.6 (call of duty) no matter how much I played. My K/D is now 1.36 and I've been using these since Feb 2014 (currently its June 2014).Installation is simple, simply press it on to your controller stick. I feels dependable and has held up to constant gaming since Feb 2014. I've also removed it countless times to try different sizes and what not. The plastic that holds it on the joysticks has not warped or broken. ..... says my 13 year old son. He loves them. I must say, the "rubbery" texture does allow your thumb to handle the "thingy" better -- but for my part I wonder: can too much adherence get the player a bit stuck? Don't take it from me, I can just imagine my son rolling his eyes. I'm just the "Desperate Xbox One Mom".

It's only been a day since I got these and they've improved my game by a lot by K/D ratio went from 1.08% to 1.34%

I have not done a before/after action report so my review is subjective. Controls feel better and it is easier to manage the sticks.

You will never use a controller without Kontrol Freaks again. Granted the images on the controller do not last forever. But even when the images wear off the control is still great. Perfect for long gaming.
