This remote is crap and cannot figure out how to link it eith my tv. The directions stink. Total waste of money!

I bought this device to remotely control media functions on my tablet. What I found in the package would not do.This item is actually consists of two devices in one shell: A regular IR remote control on top and a bluetooth Keyboard/gamecontroller beneath it which you can slide open. This means you can only use one of the two at the time, unless you target device has both receivers (IR and BT) AND support this remote. I think in practice this will be very rare.So I wanted to use this device to control the media functions of my tablet, and I cannot use the regular remote part since it is IR and my table does not support that. The keyboard does some of those features, but I had to press the 'alternate' button every time I needed to play, pause, volume up or down, etc. And since the buttons are small, this wasn't working very well.I tried using the keyboard as an alternate for the onscreen keyboard on my tablet, but quickly found out that the onscreen one is better and less uncomfortable to use than the one on this device. Like said before, the buttons are small, and it is missing a backspace. The latter makes the keyboard unusable for me.If you pair the keyboard with an Android or Windows device, a cursor will be available, which you can use with the gamepad function. You move the cursor the way you would do it with a joystick. It works, but not very comfortable.Since the ipega PG-IP126 is not entirely BT (or IR) I cannot recommend this to anyone.

First of when removed from packaging noticed it is not very durable and would be destroyed easily with our use. Two tech geeks spent 2 hours attempting to get synced but would constantly disconnect and when connected did not allow use of most buttons.
