The 30 in 1 sold thru Amazon is a real Commodore 64 computer on a single ship. This Joystick ROCKS! It looks just like the old-school C64 Joystick and has 30 of the BEST games built right into it! The "30 Game" thing is really a lie - there are more like 50! There is the original Summer Games and Winter Games suites (almost 20 games right there) + Pit Stop, Pit Stop 2, Impossible Mission (one and two) and the classic fighting games like World Karate 1 and 2. The list of games goes on and on... I play it on my TV at home and also give it to the kids to play on the monitor in the car. There is even a shotcut that if you figure it out lets you program in basic:)The 64 Joystick is a must for those of us who had and loved our Commodore 64s and also for the younger kids who just appreciate that it is so many games in one compact joystick. And, at less than $1 per game, how could you wrong? Just buy it!

I use to play this game when it first came out and it's exactly how I remember it. Good buy if your looking to play these old school games. Very easy to use.

Amazing how far computers have come since my old C64 was classified as a powerful machine graphically. I love the new stuff, but once in awhile its nice to backtrack to the good ol days of 64k memory and 5 1/4" disk drives. I agree with the review about the difficulty of the games, but its just once again a reminder of the changes in gaming with the times. My old C64 eventually burnt up with use, and its nice to see I'm not the only one to miss these game treasures included on this wonderful piece of equipment. Now, if only somebody would do this with an apple II....

for mod'ers, new package, not version 2

This looked to be the new circuit board with flash ram and new modification options for the enthusiast. The package was certainly new, but the circuit board was the original version 1.You'll need to go to great lengths to make sure you're getting a version 2, if it's possible at all. Good luck!

A must have for any household to understand some of our computers of the past and be able to appreciate how much fun to have with so little space of memory the games take. Thanks to the people that made this work for our TV's today. Instant loading and no waiting to play a game.

Got this used from an Amazon seller for less than half retail, not disappointed. It plugs directly into most any TV that has RCA plugs, one for audio and the other for video.My only wish is that it had an external joystick port, I have some sticks that I used on an actual C-64 back in the day that I would like to be able to use again. There is a way to crack open this one and hack it to support another port, so I may go that route, but having the extra built in from the start would be best.
